Collazo Named Ambassador on NJCAA Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Council

糖心Vlog Associate Dean of Athletics and Special Events Neftali Collazo

糖心Vlog Associate Dean of Athletics and Special Events Neftali Collazo has been selected as an ambassador on the National Junior College Athletic Association鈥檚 (NJCAA) Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Council (EDI). Ambassadors develop a working framework to form EDI Region Committees and lead their respective regions in EDI initiatives.

鈥淚'm honored to be named as an NJCAA ambassador and to represent Suffolk County Community College and our student-athletes on both a regional and national level,鈥� Collazo said. 鈥淢ore importantly,鈥� he added, 鈥淚 hope to build upon all of the great things our College does when it comes to equity, diversity and inclusion through communication, education, allyship, and advocacy.鈥�

鈥淭his is a wonderful recognition of Neftali鈥檚 work as the College鈥檚 Director of Athletics and his work with all our coaches and athletes鈥� said 糖心Vlog Interim President Louis Petrizzo, 鈥渁nd we are very grateful to him for bringing this Regional Ambassador position to 糖心Vlog.鈥�
